Oooh, a dark, dreary day. Perfect for hangin' at the hacienda with a good book (A Soldier of the Great War by Mark Helprin) and not much else. Which is fine, little on the tired side today, feels goooood to hole up at home and keep things cozy and simple. I'm planning omelets for dinner...little green pepper, onion, fresh tomato, sprinkle of cheddar. Buttered toast. Glass of wine. Is that John I hear callling my name, or is it my actual bed? I do believe it's my bed! I'll be there soon, baby, I'll be there soon...

About Me
- Name: Stephanie
- Location: Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, United States
Mom, wife, home-maker and sensualist, I love experiencing the good things in life – food, wine, beauty, comfort, order, laughter, love – in moderation. Read here as I log my daily pleasure pursuits (mostly food! At my core, I am a foodie…) and my only sometimes successful efforts at keeping it all in balance. Check out my recipes (posted in comments and listed below), leave me a note, send me an email, click on my links to the offerings of talented friends and family and unique vendors. Make yourself something delicious and healthy to eat, perhaps pour yourself a glass of wine, and enjoy!
