My minxes - who I'm sorry to say did not win the FM 107 Undiscovered Divas contest, booooooo (what are you gonna do, throw me out of the game like an over-zealous umpire? I think not! BOOOOOOOO!!!) - and their minxettes are coming to swim this afternoon. It's another beautiful, sunny day (just like it is all over the country, ha), a very good day to decompress a bit from our collectively stressful week by cracking an ice-cold beer, munching some poolside tortilla chips with guahhhhcamole, and talking it all to death. That's what sister-women do, lemons to lemonade, with lots of cackling and shrieking in the process, heh, heh, heh. Oh, how I love my lovely, naughty, hilarious, good-hearted-yet-slightly-evil friends! We're almost-40 bitches, in the very best sense of the word. Look out!

After having a burger for lunch AND dinner yesterday (YUCK! Baseball craziness, that's how it goes...), I am making a SALAD for dinner tonight. My body wants vegetables in any form - greens, cabbage, onions, avocado, herbs, beets, all of it. With berries for dessert. We have lots of leftover chicken, that will probably go in as well. Perhaps some homemade croutons, sprinkle of parm, make a meal out of it. Cool and crunchy, mmm...

Slightly evil, ooooh! Thank you very much! :-) I can't think of a better place to spend my afternoon.
